Cantex is a trade mark for prefabricated pieces which are obtained by weaving canes next to each other by galvanized wires. These pieces have normally dimensions of 1*2 and 1.5*2. They are produced in two forms: shelled and unshelled; they are 3 and 5cm in diameter.

The Cantex Co. Ltd. (The Private Corporation of Cantex mfg.) was founded in Ahwaz, the capital of Khuzestan, Iran in 1958 and presented its products in the market to be used in the construction industry.
